Mud in the bird bath and TP in the potty
Ah, how I love three-year-olds!
Today’s been a mess of a day for Mr. Eli. While playing in the back yard, he decided merely digging in the dirt of the garden wasn’t enough. He was overcome by the urge to scoop the garden dirt straight into the bird bath! Covering not only the birdbath but himself as well with mud. Ugh.
Calling all birds! If you’re in need of a spa treatment, stop by our house! We’ve got the only Birdie Mud Bath in town!
And apparently, when you’re three and your older brother is five you must be allowed to complete every task he does by yourself. Including the bathroom duties. Never mind, you’ve only been potty trained for a few months. Never mind, you’ve been instructed to let Mom or Dad know when you’re finished. No no, when you’re three you do everything by yourself, thank you very much.
Hence, the entire roll of toilet paper ending up in the potty. But do you tell Mom? Nope. Because you do everything by yourself, you then retrieve said roll of TP and place it in the bathtub. And you wonder why Mom’s a little perturbed when she walks in to discover this debacle. Hmmm…. Go figure!
